Iron beds were first designed in the middle of the nineteenth century and were manufactured until the First World War they were hand crafted in small factories where there were very few workers. Shortly after the First World War they went on to mass production, but this lead to the beds being stolen therefore a more effective solution to making beds had to be found. Now Iron beds are made using cold-rolled steel tubing with gives strength and stability to the frame. They can be made is both classic and modern styles with a wide array of original finishes. Every bedstead is constructed using techniques that have been perfected over the years with quality metal bases and casting. So whatever you preference our timeless collections are intended to delight and inspire for years to come.
