Bespoke beds The beauty of bespoke beds is that you get to choose exactly how you bed is made. More often than not the top layer of the bed is the mattress, designed to provide comfort and support. Today than are filled with cotton or foam and are sometimes used in conjunction with springs for added support, water and air can also be used. The next layer is the box spring box, which provides additional support and suspension for the mattress. Then followed by the bed frame, which lifts and supports the mattress and spring box from off the ground. Bed frames can be made from different materials. Many people also include a headboard, bed rails or footboards as part of there bed frame. When a bespoke bed is made it can be as minimal or as lavish as you decide to choose.
We were established in 1989 and we design and produce all of our iron beds at our Black Country Workshop. Our range of beds featured varies from contemporary to classic designs so you can have the design that suits your needs and it will be unique to you. At windmill furniture we have a unique collection of hand crafted iron beds, we also offer an unrivalled service as every one of the beds are hand finished to the highest of stands and are available in a range of styles, colours and size. The beds are also easy to assemble, as there are only 8 bolts to lock thanks to our technical design team. They are also guaranteed to be ‘wobble’ free. The quality of our beds is also important so all of our iron beds come with a five-year guarantee.
